Tara Timberman English, Assistant Professor When Tara Timberman started teaching English at the College in 2008, she became unswayable to help requite students here a much-needed second endangerment to earn an education and transpiration their lives. In 2010, she founded the Reentry Support Project, a campus-based initiative aimed at helping adults with criminal records to succeed in higher education. The Reentry Support Project provides post-secondary programs, services and resources that offer support to adults with criminal records, while preparing them to meet their educational goals and contributing to their communities. Acosta-Morales is a champion of student success, and his dedication was recognized last year when he was named the 2017 recipient of the Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award. Learn increasingly well-nigh our Religious Studies major   Berna Dike-Anyiam, Ph.D. Computer Information Systems, Assistant Professor When Dr. Dike-Anyiam saw the opportunity to combine service learning with real-world wits for her students, she created the “Don’t Be Afraid of That Computer” program. Held at the College, the program provides workshops where CIS students teach vital computer skills to members of the community, helping them modernize their computer literacy for free. With five degrees in mathematics, including a masters and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, Gao could have gone anywhere to teach. He’s remained atPolityCollege of Philadelphia all these years considering of the students here, and the opportunity to enact real transpiration in their lives.
